HTMLens Privacy Policy
GGAMI Studio (“we”) makes HTMLens (“the app”) and is responsible for the information described here. The app has no accounts, we run no servers for it, and we never receive the documents you open or the passwords you use with them.
1. Information kept on your device
The following is stored on your device and is never sent to us.

Deleting the app removes this information. Because of how iOS works, keychain passwords can remain after the app is deleted, so remove them in Settings › Saved Passwords first.
Documents that connect to the internet
If a document is built to load images or scripts from the internet, the app connects to the sites the document names, just as a web browser would. Those sites receive your IP address, and the document's scripts may send them parts of the document. What they receive is governed by their own policies and isn't shared with us. Documents opened from the Statement Vault open with scripts and internet access turned off.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you buy Remove Ads, the app shows Google AdMob banner ads, and Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) collects the following directly when an ad is requested. We don't receive this information.
- The advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking
- Other device identifiers, and your IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location
- Ads you see and tap, and other interaction data
- Performance and crash diagnostics
Google uses this to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and for analytics. Legal basis: in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, personalized ads rely on your consent, which the app asks for through Google's consent form; other ad serving relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the app free. Google processes the information in the United States and other countries and relies on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers (details). Google says it anonymizes advertising data in server logs by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months (retention).

Your choices
- When the app asks, choose “Ask App Not to Track” and the advertising identifier won't be shared. You can change this later in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, change or withdraw your consent any time in the app's Settings › Ad Privacy Choices.
- After you buy Remove Ads, the app stops requesting and showing ads, and doesn't start the ad service on later launches.
4. In-app purchase
Apple processes the Remove Ads purchase. We don't receive your payment details or Apple Account information; the app only checks on the device whether the purchase was made.
5. Sharing
Apart from the advertising described in section 3, we don't sell or share personal information, except when the law requires it.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent, by emailing us; an authorized representative or a parent or guardian can also ask on your behalf with proof of authority. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Information on your device can be deleted in the app as described in section 1.
7. Security
Passwords are kept in the keychain behind biometrics or your passcode. The Statement Vault uses iOS file encryption and is excluded from backups, and saved statements open with the document's scripts and internet access turned off. Temporary files made for sharing PDFs are deleted when sharing ends.
8. Children
The app isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
